Harvested fresh from the Dollar Tree are the bunny and chick Peeps Bubble Blowers. They come in multiple colors, and each have a bottle of bubble liquid, a dipping tray, and a squeezy Peep with a blower attached. They're great quality, and perfect for outside spring/summer fun.
I set up outside to photograph my Peeps. I noticed my neighbors peering at me through their windows as I worked, but my neighbors are creepy Mennonites so they were probably freaked by my pants zipper alone. The seals on the bubble containers were near impossible to open, I had to pop the plastic with a sharp rock to get to the soapy goo inside. High quality bubble fluid, I must say. Very thick.
Upon testing, the chick only delivered one good blow while the bunny released 3-4 impressive bouts of bubbles. It could be because of the deeper dipping cup, but I like to think it's because the bunny looks has a magical horn nose. It was fun and plenty goopy to play with the bubbles even though I was being gawked at like I was Morticia Addams, not only from my neighbors, but kids at the playground across the street. Thankfully, I sold my shame for a tube of Miss Piggy bubblegum toothpaste years ago.
