We saw Simon Scribbles release several Peeps coloring and activity books last year, and not only are they back again, but there's new editions. There's a large new book much thicker than its predecessors. There's a cool set of cut-out Peeps glasses on the back, but there's something much more important on the front. As you can see, the newcomers Green Chick and Cocoa Bunny have been added to the artisitic activities!
I know it doesn't seem like a big thing, but so far this is the only piece of Peeps merchandise I've found that features Green Chick and Cocoa Bunny. Since none of the inside pages have color, only the cover acknowledges the new pair. In a subtle move, they're pictured as much larger than the pre-existing chick and bunny variations. A good decision, because they're big fan favorites this year.
