Another impressive novelty item brought to you by Dollar Tree. I didn't realize such technology existed that rubber duckies (or in this case, chickies) can now light up in water. When I was a kid, I just filled my bathtub up with whatever toys I could find, and hoped that none of them slipped down the drain when I pulled the plug. There was a close call with one of my tiny Care Bears figures once, but thankfully my mom managed to fish her out with a tweezers. I filled up the sink to test the chick out, expecting it to glow lightly when it touched the water. I certainly didn't expect it to flash colors like a rave. It's sad to know that the batteries aren't replaceable so you have a limited amount of time with your light-up buddy. And yes, you can get it to light up by sticking your tongue on the bottom, but there's two metal nubs that give you that weird "sticking your tongue on a 9V battery" feeling. This combined with some bath crayons and a canister of foam could provide weeks worth of tubby time entertainment. Nothing's better than a chocolate and a hot bath! -Mystie
