Peeps has jumped up from the realm of stickers and into the formidable land of temporary tattoos. This $1.50 plastic Peeps container from Big Lots contains over 80 miniature Peeps tattoos. There's some really cute chicks and bunnies along with a lot of tiny spring related images. They're the standard type of temp tattoos -- cut out, press on your skin, spit on it, hold it down for a few seconds and peel it back. Technically you're supposed to moisten the tattoo with water, but that's extra effort when you have a readily available drool factory in your mouth.
It's an Easter item, so understandably the images are all very cute, bright, and cheerful. Probably not a top pick for males, lest they want to get beaten senseless on the schoolyard for having rainbows and flowers all over their skin. There's no glitter in them, but they're quite feminine nonetheless.
The tattoos rub off fairly easily, and it doesn't take more than a good washing to remove them. They're an excellent and harmless candy alternative. -Mystie
