I don't know if these come in any additional flavors other than the Strawberry and Grape shown, but that's all I was able to locate. The glitzy little mall chain known as Claire's is carrying these Peeps lips balms. They're not flavored like Peeps, although it may appear that way at first glance. They're merely scented like Peeps.
Frankly the balm sucks. A lot. I was hoping for a delicious treat reminiscent of the Jones Soda Love Potion #6 balm. I was extremely disappointed that the Peeps balm tastes like Sweet 'n Low and has the consistency of a crayon. You have to use an overwhelming amount of energy to apply it to your lips, and once it's on don't plan on breathing through your mouth because it will evaporate immediately. The best attribute to this item is that it looks kinda Eastery. It could use a Peeps shaped cap, though. You're probably just better off buying a cheap lip gloss at the dollar store and spearing a Peep through it for the Peep effect. |
